Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) - In commemoration of World Food Day event peak (HPS), the 30th in 2010 in the Nucleus Puyung, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara on 20 October 2010, Minister of Agriculture present with Coordinating Minister for Welfare People (Welfare), Minister of State for Rural Development, Head of Business Logistics Agency (Bulog), Deputy Minister of Agriculture, the Governor of NTB Province, representatives from the Ministry of Forestry, representatives from the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, FAO Representatives and representatives of Friends of the State and International Organizations.

International theme is "United Against Hunger" and the National theme is "Independence Food to Fight Hunger. In the event this HPS peak, organizers of the event which consists of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Forestry of Indonesia and West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government Warning HPS resemble the opening ceremony enlivened with displays of traditional dances Lombok, Choir, Race, Speech and Reports . Furthermore, ended with the opening of the exhibition which was followed by all provinces, international organizations and private parties. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of warning HPS invitation of the 4000 students, agricultural businesses, including farmers, private sector, the authorities and society at large.

In his opening speech, the Governor of NTB, said that comsumption rice per capita in West Nusa Tenggara Province is currently the 2nd highest in Indonesia, for it to the front, NTB will try to reduce its rice consumption based on food patterns expectations recommended by the Government. Minister of Agriculture stressed the importance to strengthen food security through diversification of food-based acceleration of local food resources. Meanwhile, the message from the Director General of FAO in Rome which was read by the FAO Representative in Indonesia submit an appeal that the community must fight against hunger through a new green revolution to boost food production.

Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare in his speech stressed that the food is a human right which is very influential to realize a healthy Human Resources and quality, and also urged Indonesia not to have people who hunger to build a national food self-sufficiency and also officially opened the event to the top of the warning HPS-30 . The event also celebrated with a talk show hosted by presenter Lula Kamal with Resource Person of the Minister, the Governor of NTB, Head of National Logistics Board, representatives of Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and Ministry of Forestry and involve the community in question and answer session, followed by a review of Exhibition and Technology degree.
 
Warning HPS series of events beginning with the activities of the Seminar held on 6 to 8 October 2010 in Mataram, themed "Building a Shared Threats to Overcome Hunger through the Food Self-Reliance" and then proceed with the Diplomatic Tour on October 19, 2010 together with the Ambassadors and Representatives of Friends of the State Organization food-related international and global health. At the Tour, the representatives of foreign countries were invited to see first hand the potential of agriculture, forestry, marine and fisheries as well as culture and tourism in the NTB as well as planting trees and sowing seeds.
